The journey of the Rani Sui Lake trek starts from the ancient Hadimba temple (Old Manali). The journey includes breath taking views of green meadows, snowcapped mountains, constantly shift in landscapes.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Manali to Lamadugh

The trek start from one of the most famous and ancient temples of Manali, Hidimba Devi temple. To reach our first destination you will be walking through the forest’s tree line of big Cedar, Pine and Oak trees. This will take you about 4-5 hours (8 km) to reach Lamadugh. As you keep walking the trail will start to ascend smoothly and now you are walking through Manaslu valley along with the Manaslu river stream. After walking for 4-5 hours you will found the pulpy view of green meadows and this is our first destination’s trek accomplished you’ve now reached Lamadugh and this will be your first campsite.


Day 2 Lamadugh - Khanpari Tibba – Rani Sui Lake

After breakfast in the early morning, we will start our second-day trek. Today’s trek is going to be tougher the previous day, the trail will be steep and you have to walk at least 5-6 hours of trek. The trail follows through the ridge just below the Khanpari Tibba. From here you can have a mesmerizing view of Manali and whole upper Kullu valley which will be seen green in summer and cover with white snow in winters. After walking for 5-6 hours we are at Rani Sui Lake. The lake is surrounded by beautiful grassland as you look further you get a whole 360-degree view of the two most famous and largest Himalayan ranges Pir Panjal and the mighty Dhauladhar ranges. After this tiring trek, you also want to get relax so our second day’s campsite is going to be here just before the lake.


Day 3 Rani Sui – Shanchar - Manali

Today you will be descent to Shanchar through beautiful lush meadows. The trail constantly steep downwards and it will take about 4-5 hours to get Shanchar. During the descent you also crossing the forest will tree line of pine, maple, horse chestnut and walnuts. After a tasty meal, we start to trek down to Manali. It will take you almost 4-5 hours through the forest of pine trees. Once you reach the road from there you will be picked up by cab and drive to Manali.

Trek Fee Includes:

  • Accommodation: From Day 1 to last day of the trek accommodation will be provided at campsite.
  • Meals: From Dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Last day of trek are included. Himalayan Trekker Provides on Vegetarian food.
  • Trek Equipments: Sleeping bag, mattress, tent (twin sharing), kitchen & dinning tent, toilet tent and utensils.
  • Camping Charges: All necessary permits and entry fees.
  • Safety Equipment: First aid medical kits, stretcher and oxygen cylinder.

Trek Fee NOT Includes:

  • Food during transit to and from the base camp
  • Backpacks Offloading: Porter to carry personal backpack
  • Note:Himalayan Trekker expect you to carry your own backpacks,if you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to Potar. Charges - 800 full trek You have to inform us in advance for backpack offloading. once we reached at starting point of trek offloading can't be possible.
  • Stay at Manali on the last day
  • Anything apart from inclusions

Cancellation Polices:

  • Cancellations prior to 15 days from the start of the Trek: Get a full refund (minus 5% transaction cost). The money will be transferred to the same bank account from where the transaction was made.
  • Cancellations prior to 10 days from the start of the Trek: 50% Cancellations Charges. The money will be transferred to the same bank account from where the transaction was made.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days of departure: Unfortunately, NO REFUND.
